This is the story as I know it from Sarah. William and Sarah met while Sarah was attending
CSU's Schwob School of Music several years ago, but as fate would have it, music was not in Sarah's future. Sarah realized that quickly that her love was in pastries and cake making so with this realization it soon hit her that she would have to leave Columbus to attend Pastry Chef school in Atlanta. The thought of leaving William worried her, but knew their love was more than any other she had ever known. Upon telling William of her plans, William asked if she was breaking up with him. She said "no" to which he replied, "then will you marry me?" It was that moment that their love was meant to be and fast forward 1 1/2 years later their 200 mile separation has almost come to an end. Sarah will be graduating in the fall and moving back to Columbus to be with William and plan their wedding/future.
Sarah was adamant that their shoot include three significant places. First up was the beautiful
Lake Bottom Park. This was where they had their first date...a picnic.

Up next is the
CSU's Rankin Arts Center in Uptown Columbus where they first met and spent so much time together.

I grabbed a few head shots.

Finally, the
Columbus side Riverwalk...scene of their engagement.

Let me know your favorite shot.
Thank you, William and Sarah, for allowing me to shoot your engagement shots!
