This was the second session I had last weekend so I am a bit behind in my blogging. I have known Anita for a few years now and when she asked me to take photos of her blended family I was excited to do so. This family is full of fun and laughter and what a fun session this was! John and Anita are mom and dad and the kids are from oldest to youngest Ian, Ashley, Kira, Jaeden, and Brenna.
I met this family at the Donald E Davis Auboretum at the Auburn University campus. It was my first time at the university and Auboretum and it was such a great location for photographs. I have a ton of photos to blog so enjoy!
We had some gorgeous light to work with.
Jaeden was the most active boy during the shoot. My hubby tagged along for this shot and did a great job just hanging out with him while we got shots of the other kids and mom and dad. We spent quite a bit of time hanging out in the trees.
Love this shot of John and Anita.
I just adore these next shots of Brenna.
In case you are wondering, I intentionally had the flowers in focus and Brenna a bit out of focus. :-) Kira was determined on hanging upside down in the tree for a photograph. Thanks for a great shoot!
I am married to a wonderful husband, Garland, and am an photography enthusiast. It is my belief that photography should be more than just a plastered smile. It should represent you, who you are, reflect your soul, and have meaning. If this description fits who you are, then I would love to photograph you.
