In the month long hiatus from blogging, I accomplished a lot of things which makes me very happy. I finished the spring semester and got a lot closer to graduating. This semester entailed a ton of writing which I actually really like to do, but it is so time consuming. I spent two entire weekends writing a 20 page paper and one weekend on a 5 page paper and presentation plus my sister-in-law came into town for another weekend. In the end, the reward all of this hard work is so far four A's and awaiting the results of the fifth class. And the end of my undergraduate life is quickly drawing to a close with only six more classes to go. I will officially graduate on December 10th and CANNOT wait.

In addition to all of this, I have been battling the craziest allergy and sinus season known to man. It certainly feels like I have felt lousy for-EVER and I am quite tired of it. If you too are battling this, I give you a huge shout out because I feel your pain. :-)

I wanted to blog a few of Easter pictures that I took of my sweet great nephew and his parents as well as some pictures taken when my sister-in-law and niece were in town.

My month long hiatus is over. It has been a stressful month personally, but we navigated our way through it--somewhat. School is complete and I cannot be more thrilled. OK...enough of my personal stuff. :-)

Meet the Casey's! My friend Susie contacted me a couple of weeks ago to get a portrait of her family for her parents 50th wedding anniversary. WOW...50 years! AMAZING!!! Unfortunately her mom, Sandy, is in very poor health and since some of the family lives out of town, this might be their last opportunity to get a complete family portrait. I was MORE than happy to oblige.

Here are some of my faves. Note to self...need to learn to get more creative in large group situations.
