Columbus, Ga Photographer

Today was going to be a fabulous day...I just knew it. And it was! I emailed my brother, Brent, to get a time frame on when he might be able to get my website up and running AND.....he said he should hopefully be able to start working on it in the next couple of weeks. That, of course, is music to my ears!!! What a great marketing tool! So look for it in the next coming months.

Then I arrive home after being at work at 6 am, school, then work, then to the gym to burn off some of this unwanted calories and weight to find that my wonderful husband has cooked a great meal with all the calories listed and the approximate total calories of the dinner. To top it all off, he cleaned up the kitchen to prevent me from picking...which of course is one of my insanely BAD habits. All I can say is I am glad I married him before another woman found out how great he is. :-)

Anyway, I am working on my business plan so I can get a small loan to get some of my professional equipment. Wish me luck!

Columbus, Ga Photographer Like a kid waiting to open their present on Christmas Day

So I feel like this photography start up is moving at a snail's pace. As the title of this post reflects, I am extremely anxious to get this adventure started. The hubby and I went to uptown Columbus looking for potential spots for future shoots. It was really great to just hang out and walk around with my husband. I realize my equipment is inadequate for really great shots so I must work really hard on getting the money to obtain professional equipment. All things will fall into place but it is hard to sit back and wait on it.

Last night we purchased my domain name for my upcoming website. beckyhuffphotography.com....look for it in the near future. I am thrilled about it but I definitely need to get more quality shots to display on it.

My diet has fallen short of it's expectation and I must get back on track. I NEED to my head off this photography and realize this is just important. So there's no time like the present.

Today is a new day...I am starting back on my diet and beginning to write my business plan. Both have proved to be challenging but it is going to be well worth it. I see big changes in store so I need to prepare myself for the road ahead. No one ever said it would be easy but with my wonderful husband's support and my willingness and drive, I will succeed.
