This handsome fella is my great nephew, Justin (aka Chubby). He is not new to my blog, but he has been absent from it for some time and not by my choice. He has recently come back into our lives and boy have I missed him! This little guy loves to beat up on us daily, play karate, everything spiderman, and play get out of town (a game we came up with him).
Kids really do say the darndest things and he does for sure. This is a conversation I had this morning with him.
Me: Go get your shoes on so we can go.
Chubby: Never
Me.: Well I've got to go get some food for Gaga (Garland---who is at work)
Chubby: Well, he'll just have to wait.
I nearly died laughing at his serious expression and sassy comeback.
To all you parents and aunts/uncles out there, please remember to take a moment to enjoy these interactions with your children. They grow up so fast and we tend to take these moments for granted.
